Sandgrown'un is a fond and sometimes bitter tale of what it's like to be a Football fan in England.  Particularly when the team you support has been in decline since you first started to  go to games with your Dad when you were 5 years old.  Along the way, and over the years the disappointments far outweigh the triumphs when you commit yourself to following a team that will never, ever win anything.

 

This is my humourous look back over 50 years of supporter misery which is uplifted by a magnificent, against the odds achievement which made it all worth while before they threw it all away again in double quick time.
